About Me

I have been a specialist Physical Education teacher since 1971. In 1985 I gained a Post Graduate Diploma in Adaptive Physical Education whilst working with children with specific learning difficulties. I started to develop methods of teaching motor skills to these children who generally do not acquire skills easily. Working at East Court School for Dyslexic Children since 1989 enabled me to extend my work and develop my understanding and experience. This led me to the assessment of the dyspraxic person’s abilities and difficulties and the creation of exercise and motor development programmes that address the individual’s dyspraxic profile to help them to fulfil their potential.
